Rates:
Standard Rates are:
Translation:
$0,03-0,07 per word of source text;
Editing:
$0,015-0,020 per word (depending on how much correction
is required);
Interpreting:
$25 per hour, (amounts to only $200 per full working
day of standard conference or workshop), travel fare and daily subsistence
allowances are paid additionally based on negotiation
Higher rates:
Urgent orders
and weekend services are paid 130% Standard Rate, as Urgent being classified
the orders requiring product delivery quicker than Average Productivity
(specified below) or specifically requested to be placed before the other
orders in line. Though I am normally engaged in one or more projects at
a time, I shall do my best to fulfil your order at your maximum convenience.
Higher Rates may be applied, based on negotiation, to the texts of higher
complexity.
Amounts to
be paid are understood net. All charges associated with funds transfer,
if any, will be born by the Client.
Discounts
may be offered upon an individual request and based on negotiation
Methods
of Payment:
- via Western
Union — preferred;
- by cheque;
- by bank
transfer
An
advance payment is normally requested:
30% for the
orders up to 50 pages inclusive (equals to approx. 13,800 words),
50% for the
orders above 50 pages, calculated on 1,800 characters per page basis, if
the total sum of payment is $50 and more.
Other
options: subject to negotiation
Average
productivity:
My average
productivity is 3-5 pages a day (1,800 characters per page), which equals
to approx. 800-1,500 words, depending on complexity, for a single project
(while other projects may be simultaneously under way), which means this
is an average speed of translation you can count to be applicable to your
project not to be considered Urgent. Though, my standard policy being to
ensure client-friendly service, I shall complete your job as soon as proves
possible (producing up to 3,000 word a day), provided time is available,
without any extra chargers for urgency.

Document
Delivery:
I shall send
out the translated file to you via E-mail (as .doc, .txt, .rtf, WinZip
file attachment or other), by fax, through express mail, regular mail (as
hard copy or floppy disk), the latter three options at the expense of the
