I have a strong theoretical background in Theory of Language and Theory of Translation, Orient Studies and Philosophy, and am working towards Ph.D. in Theory of Language/ Theory of Knowledge (List of academic publications) . 

I am the author of translation of a number of books and essays on Orient and Western Philosophy (including Buddhism, Vedic texts, Ayurveda, Taoism, Alchemy and Gnosticism); Psychology; Medicine; Arts by modern and ancient writers. I am the author of a number of well styled academic and popular articles including those on Orient culture and philosophies, linguistics. Among the samples of translation  you will find abstracts from David Hume, Jean Jacques Rousseau, Blaise Pascal, Benjamin Franklin — short illustrations from my previous translation jobs. 

I am a University Lecturer on Theory and Practice of Translation (English/Russian). I have a vast experience of translation and interpreting since 1992, among my customers are so renowned corporate clients as BBC, UN/WHO (in course of 4 years of permanent employment), USA Embassy in Belarus; and I have provided interpretation at numerous UN Official Meetings and Conferences, high level negotiations (Minister, Ambassador, etc. level). I have been extensively engaged in style editing since 1996 working for a number of publishers in Russia and Belarus with English to Russian translated books, general and specialized (as specified above) and am currently also engaged as translator and editor on publishing (PR) projects of the UN Office in Minsk, Belarus (see the reference) .
