Bobby Jutley: Tabla
Bobby, a mesmerizing tabla player, has been playing since he was 4 years old. He has accompanied many great artistes including, Mehdi Hassan, Ghulam Ali, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Jagjit Singh and Hariharan, and toured all over the world performing in famous auditoriums.
Fazel Haris: Vocal
Fazel, a versatile singer, is very popular among the music lovers in Minnesota. He has been singing since his school days and has performed in more than 100 programs in India, USA and Canada. Fazel has undergone training in both Carnatic and Hindustani Classical Music to enhance and enrich his gifted voice.
Joy Islam: Lead/Rhythm Guitar
Joy, our lead/rhythm guitarist, was part of the first heavy metal band in Dhaka. Though trained in Western Music, Joy's style is heavily influenced by Indian Classical Ragas. He is also a professional sound engineer for Sonic Studio.
Manik Joshi: Female Vocal
Manik's melodious voice was discovered at a very later age and she started her training at the age of 17, in Hindustani music under the tutelage of her revered Guru Mrs. Neelakshi Juvekar. Manik has perfomed in various shows and has a dignified and appealing presence on the stage.
Nath Kumar: Dholak
Nath is a versatile musician who started playing at the age of 3. He plays Harmonica, Tabla, Dholak, Harmonium and is learning to play the Accordian.
Pradeep Thiagarajan: Saxophone, Flute
Pradeep has learnt Carnatic Vocal for 10 years. He has learnt saxophone for 3 years and flute for 3 years. He is multi-talented in various music instruments and is equally at ease on keyboard, saxophone, flute and drums and has performed in many music programs.
Priya Raman: Female Vocal
Priya has undergone formal training in Carnatic music for 8 years. She was in BITS Pilani Music Club and has performed for the band, 'Rasika'. She can produce the melody of Lata and huskiness and power of Asha with the ease that will keep you spellbound.
Ravi Prasad: Dholak, Harmonium, Vocal
Ravi Prasad is a highly accomplished musician with a Masters degree in Indian Classical Vocal and Tabla. He has performed several times locally and internationally and has won the President's Award in New Delhi. He takes special interest in Global Fusion Music.
Shyam Vaidhyanathan: Sound Engineer
Shyam has worked on various sound engineering projects for years with various Indian music bands and for the Chicago based jazz band, 'DoubleForte'. He is also the lead keyboard and piano player for DoubleForte and has produced two albums so far and is working on many other projects.
Sriram Natarajan: Accordion, Keyboard
Sriram has performed and toured with the band 'Sangeetkar' in Bombay. He has learnt Classical Mridangam for 10 years and was trained in keyboard/accordion by Sri Bombay Rajan, well-known in music circles as 'Bombay Ilayaraja'. He has arranged jingles including tele-serials on ZeeTV, Doordarshan and the All India Radio.
Sundu Venkataramani: Keyboard, Violin
Sundu has learnt Classical Carnatic violin for 6 years. He was in BITS Pilani Music Club and Rasika band. An extremely talented and versatile keyboardist, Sundu has added color to many songs through his flying fingers. Check him out! He will make you 'rock'!!
Tushar Ahmed: Bass Guitar, Vocal
Tushar Ahmed is a bass guitarist and a singer. His band in Bangladesh has released an album including his solo number which hit the Top 10 Parade. He is a dedicated musician skilled in many different instruments.
Tirthankar Das: Drums
Tirthankar Das has learnt Classical Tabla for 6 years. He was in the BITS Pilani music club and Rasika band. His undying passion for playing percussion has led him to play for Indian Classical, Western Music and Indian Film music programs. He is excellent when it comes to producing complex rhythm patterns.
Vaidee Sampathkumar: Vocal
Vaidee's versatility is amazing! He has performed for BITS Pilani Music club and Rasika band. Give him any song - sung by S. P. Balasubramaniam, Yesudas, R. D. Burman or anyone else and let him do the rest.
Vijay Ramanathan: Keyboard, Vocal
Vijay is a well-known artiste in the Twin Cities. He is a trained Carnatic music vocalist, an accomplished keyboard player and music composer. He has performed in many classical and light music programs both in the Twin Cities and in India.
