At age nine, Barton began her promising career in New York Theater with a lead role in Tony Kushner's 'Slavs!' She soon segued into the lead role of Emma Hatrick in James Lapine's 'Twelve Dreams' at the renowned Lincoln Center. Among her varied stage credits are 'Where the Truth Lies' and 'One Flea Spare', both of which took place at the New York Shakespeare Festival.
No stranger to television, Barton was featured for three seasons on the daytime drama 'All My Children'. She also portrayed the title role of Frankie alongside Joan Plowright in the recent Showtime feature Frankie and Hazel for producer Barbra Streisand's Barwood Films. Barton recently returned from location in Australia filming the Disney telefilm Ring of Endless Light, A (2002) (TV) and segues into an eight-episode arch on ABC's "Once and Again" (1999). A long-time Manhattan resident, Barton enjoys family-life with her parents and two sisters. also a part in 'Life is a Dream'.
Mischa Barton has developed an extensive filmography and theatrical resume that will surely make her one of the most sought after young actress of her generation. Her feature film debut occurred in 1998 with the critically lauded Sundance favorite Lawn Dogs (1997) opposite Sam Rockwell.

Born in Los Angeles, California in 1981, Rachelle Jade Bilson was always treated like a princess. Her older brothers and parents spoiled her from birth and she grew up quite comfortably as a result. Throughout her childhood years, she learned how to wrap her older siblings and friends around her little finger, becoming that cute, sly girl that everyone can't help but love. In doing so, she proved she had a natural flair for dramatics even before hitting the stage or standing in front of a camera.
At the age of 7 her parents helped their daughter land her first role in the film, The Wrong Guys, with comedian Louie Anderson. Rachel continued to audition for roles during her early years at Notre Dame High School. Through the recommendation of a close friend, she received a part in the seven-episode miniseries, Following graduation, she pursued this new passion and hired an agent, who helped get her foot in the door.
Rachel's first high-profile gig was on stage, in a production of Bye Bye Birdie. She had landed a role on a fantasy series called It's True in 1998, but the show never took off because CBS couldn't find the financing to air it.
Bilson was invited to attend an audition for FOX's potential new hit, The O.C. The show was aiming to target the same audience as previously successful shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place. As we know she was as Summer Roberts, best friend of Marissa Cooper. and spoiled beauty who personifies the "Valley Girl" stereotype.

Kelly Rowan was born in Ottawa but grew up in Toronto, and started her career on television when she was just 19. Kelly was given a Gemini Award for her role in Adrift. Kelly Rowan first found acting opportunities on Canadian television when she was 19. At this time Kelly was still training in workshops and classes such as Shakespeare and Second City for which she did a little fashion modelling in New York to help with money.
In 1990 Kelly moved to Los Angeles, the movie capital, and after appearing in several television series Kelly landed her first role in a major film, albeit a minor part in Steven Spielberg's Hook (1991) as Peter Pan's mother.
Since then she has stayed in the mundane but rewarding world of TV movies but roles in 187 (1997)and Three To Tango (1999)suggests that Kelly has the potential and ambition to go for more serious roles in features rather than TV movies.

Born in Dana Point, California, Mindy Clarke was raised by her ballet dancer mother Patricia and actor father John Clarke.
At the age of 18 she moved to L.A. and launched her career in acting and modeling. Her first role was Faith Taylor in 'Days of Our Lives' (1989-90). Her father John Clarke is an original cast member! Her first movie role was in 'Hot Under the Collar', a forgotten B-comedy.
In 1993, she starred in horror film 'Return of the Evil Dead 3.'. I think it wasn't a joy making that movie, because she later turned down the role of Tatum in 'Scream' because she had no desire to be in horror film again... (She was replaced by Rose McGowan) Mindy's most important movie role was in '97 action-fantasy film 'Spawn'. She played Jessica Priest.

KIRSTEN COHEN

Seeing herself through Ryans eyes Kirsten becomes aware of just how much she's given up and what it will take to reconnect with her son and rekindle her marriage. Despite this she isn't happy at first about Ryan joining her family. In time she accpets and loves him as her own.
Kirsten has an odd relationship with her father. She continuously strives to please him, working towards his acceptance. The stress of her life eventually turns her to alcohol, turning rock solid Kirsten into an alcoholic. Her loving family stages an intervention and Kirsten goes into rehab. Will she stay sober?

Julie and Jimmy began the show as the married couple that lived next door to the Cohen's. Julie admitted to Kirsten that Jimmy married her because she was pregnant and that Jimmy doesn't love her as much as he loved Kirsten. Julie did love Jimmy, but not as much as she loved community status and money. When Jimmy ran into "financial trouble" Julie filed for divorce. Shortly after her divorce she began a "relationship" with Caleb Nichol (kirsten's father). Julie cut it off believeing this would go no furthur than the bedroom. She then made a decision furthur distancing her and her daughter (marissa). She began sleeping with Marissa ex-boyfriend Luke. When this came out Marissa refused to have anything mroe to do with her mother.
Calen proposed and the two married. Skeletons from Julie's past came rushing in and threatened to destroy her life as Mrs. Nickol, the powerful woman in the OC as she would lead you to believe. A very "special" movie Julie made years ago surfaced. Caleb took care of it but asked for a divorce. Before being able to divorce her Caleb has died. The vast fortune everyone expected to bo laid out wasn't there. Caleb was broke.... thus Julie is broke. Jimmy came back into her life but dissappeared when the will was read. Why? Financial woes forced him to leave New Port Beach on the day of their wedding.
Julie is somewhat evil and snobbish. She hates the fact the her daughter Marissa is invovled with Ryan Atwood, a boy from Chino. She trys to get Ryan in an abundabce of trouble from day one.

This on again off again relationship they have has lead to many unfortunate events in Marissa's life. Her attepted rape by Ryan's brother Trey, and Marissa shotting Trey to save an angry Ryan's life. Ryan has just found out what his brother had done to her and went to make him pay. Marissa was thrown out of school and now attends a public school, a whole new world for her.
