"Meg"
<-Meg was my second attempt at a show quality cocker. After my first disappointment with a bad bite I decided to try importing a girl from the U.S. out of Ch. Alorah's Artful Dodge. Meg arrived from sunny Louisiana at the age of 10 months to the cold November weather of Edmonton Alberta. She was truly a wonderful dog for me to start with. She was a great lover of people and though she never made it past the the nine of ten required points for a Canadian Champion she always put a smile on the judges' faces with her happy, wagging tail and soft eyes. I was learning the ropes and she was the best to teach me. No matter what I did wrong she always forgave me and carried on so you see she was not at fault for not finishing - it was the handler! She was with me till the age of 12 1/2 years and taught me so much about this wonderful breed as she was a great companion, show dog and mom! Thanks Meg for being such a great and patient teacher!!->
