Saga Basic Rules

This is a basic version of the DRAGONLANCE: FIFTH AGE Dramatic Adventure Game rules, based on the guidelines found in the Saga Fate Deck. Players will need a copy of the Fate Deck to play.

Generic Saga Fate Deck

Unfortunately, the Saga game rules are no longer being supported by Wizards, making it harder to play a Saga campaign. Can't find a copy of the Fate Deck for the DRAGONLANCE: FIFTH AGE Dramatic Adventure Game in the shops? Download these cards, add your own images (just don't redistribute anyone's artwork without permission!), and print them out. Stick the cards onto normal playing cards or put them in card sleeves, and you have your own, personalised Fate Deck.

Fourth Age Magic in Saga Campaigns

The purpose of this article is to allow players to recreate the spirit of magic in the Fourth Age of Krynn whilst playing with the Dragonlance Saga rules. It is not, and was never intended to be, a recreation of the AD&D spellcasting system. Rather, it is an attempt to provide guidelines for wizard and cleric heroes that cast spells in a similar style to that seen in the Dragonlance novels, whilst not sacrificing too much of the flexibility that makes the Saga rules great.
