It all started in 1991 when Ms. Elizabeth
Perez de Tagle embarked on the path of
competing with prestigious brands,
establishing a single proprietorship
company - Le Derma Skin Care.
It started
with personal care products, and proud to
say that this is the first in the market
to introduce soap manufactured in cold process.
It was the emergence of a distinct and
flourishing history for aesthetic
enhancement of the Filipino splendor.
With the foresight of excellence and
achievement which governs the entire
system of performance, it paved the way
to its development in 1992, putting up
3 branches until it reached 50 branches.
From then on, it has grown to become one
of the recognized companies in the field
of manufacturing, marketing, and trading
of dermatological and aesthetic
enhancement products that maintain a
standard of quality.
It continued to
grow and penetrated its international
arena.
In 1995, it was able to purchase its first
factory, located at Taytay, Rizal
(estimated worth of 3M Pesos in
Philippine currency), and a 3-storey
Building (estimated worth of 5M) as its
marketing office.
In 1996, the company purchased a lot
with an estimate of 1,400 square meters
with an estimated worth of 20M. The new factory was
erected on the newly acquired site - A
two-storey building with 1,000 square
meter floor area, and
a 800 square meter parking space, and commercial
stalls in front which is currently
occupied by one of its lessees, AMA
SAVINGS BANK.
Through newly acquired funds and finances
from financial institutions and sales
combined, the company was able to
purchase equipments, delivery vans, and
establish a Cosmetics laboratory.
In this current period, after years of impressive
growth and success in the local market,
the company and its products penetrated
the international market. It proved that
the products adapt to foreign skin as well.
In the year 2000, the company acquired a
new name,
GLOWCAL Manufacturing Corporation.
Through the years, the family of
Elizabeth worked hand-in-hand with its staff and workers to reach
the growing expectations of consumers by
providing efficient and effective methods
through acceptable global technology
with continuous improvements.
Despite the challenges, the company
remained undaunted in its service to its
patrons. The enthusiasm and
determination of the Filipino consumers
gave inspiration for further growth and
stability of service.
The company
continues to grow and luckily, in spite
of numerous and stiff
competitions, SUTLA herbal soaps
and personal care products will still remain
one of the leading brands in the
market.
