NGHSboysrugby.cjb.net has been up and running for almost a month now but still no roster section. Well, there's a simple reason for that: We don't have anything to put in the roster section. If you're a Panther and you'd like to see your profile in the section, send your name, nickname(s), birthdate, height, weight, positions played and years played for the team to this address. If you'd like to, you can also include a photo to go along with your profile.

NGHSboysrugby.cjb.net is finally up and running. The roster section is still under construction. Hopefully it will be finished in the near future but in the meantime, take a look around and feel free to e-mail any suggestions to this address.

New Glasgow High School ranked third in the province this weekend as the senior boys rugby team was defeated by Cole Harbour on Friday in the Provincial Semi-Finals by a score of 0-13. They went on to win the consolation game on Saturday against Glace Bay by a score of 21-17. For the scores for those games and all others this season, check the season section of our site.

Monday June 2nd, 2003

It was blood, sweat and tears this past Friday as the New Glasgow High School Panthers were victorious over the Hants East Tigers to become Regional Rugby Champions 2003. The Boys have a week off and then it's onto Provincials on Friday and Saturday.

Thursday May 29th, 2003

The Boys were victorious on Monday against East Hants with a score of 34-12, gaining the right to host regional finals on Friday. On Wednesday New Glasgow defeated CEC by a score of 22-17 in a hard fought game advancing to regional finals on Friday against Hants East here on our home field. Check the season section of our site for the scores of those and all our other games so far this season.

Monday May 26th, 2003

The Panthers deafeated the East Pictou Blue Eagles by a score of 32-0 on our home field this past Thursday. New Glasgow is now #1 in our county going in regional finals. The Boys have a game against the Hants East Tigers today after school on our field. Everyone is encouraged to come out and watch.

Tuesday May 20th, 2003

This Thursday the Panthers play the East Pictou Blue Eagles here at New Glasgow High School. Check back for results.

Friday May 16th, 2003

The Panthers came off a draining 5 games in a row this past Monday. Over the weekend the boys played four games, taking part in an outdoor 15s tournament in Truro. On Friday we played Glace Bay. Saturday we played West Kings and St. Pauls. Sunday we came out victorious against CEC. For scores of all games, check the season section of the site. Monday it was back to regular season play as the Boys squared off against the Hants East Tigers. The Boys lost 17-0 but hopefully things will be different when the teams meet again on the 26th of May.
