About

Chris and Baby

Here I am. Goofy looking, but it is the most recent image I have. Christopher J Reynolds. Born Dec. 6, 1969 in Hyannis Mass. Now residing in Shreveport, LA, in a very comfy efficiency apartment.

Me and Tony Casio live at Eli's 1994

I have always played the bass. I remember when I was 13 years old, my father bought me my first. It was an old Hoffner look-a-like. You know, Paul MacCartney style. But I thought it was so cool. And after I figured out how to play "Whip It" by "Devo", I thought I was too. If you play an instrument, you know what I am talking about. That feeling that nothing can stop you from taking the music scene by surprise. That "I-must-be-a-natural!" feeling. Nothing can stop me! Then you come to find out that everybody and there dog knows how to play that song. Well, I think I have gotten a little bit better, and wiser since then.

With my Peavy - love the pants - 1994

I have had a lot of basses over the years. Not as many as some, but enough. First was the "Hoffner". Then I bought a nice "Washburn Force ABT10". It was nice. I think my brother Tim still plays it. After that came the thrash-around "Cort". Everyone needs to try that out. Then there was the "Peavey" when I was playing for "Buzzard Pie". After that, "G&L SP1". I still have this one. Then I bought the "Yamaha BBN5". Excellent for the price. And, yes, I bought a "Rouge" acoustic. It really isn't all that bad after some tweaking to the neck.

Chris

Nowadays I play the bass with a friend of mine named Mike Trichell, every once in awhile. And I design web sites for Softdisk. Peace to you!
