So, I was hoping that you might know where I could find an old record that my mom had as a kid. It is an american children's story called "Macaroni the Little Pony" and I am guessing that it was produced around the 1940s to '50s. If you have any suggesti ns on where I could find this record, or even a place to look, I would appreciate it. Right now I have no real idea where to start. Thanks for you help, Denise

I have over 6000 albums,300 78's of Opera. I also have 2000 45's. My favorite one is the double soundtrack of War of the Worlds by Orson Wells.I know now why it caused so much havic. I hope I can meet other collectors . I enjoy your site, I just found it so I will visit often. thanks..

Like one of the other visitors I started collecting records just because I hated to see music thrown away in that form. I generally pick up anthing that passes by me. I am of the school of thought that listening to the old songs on the original type of me ia is much better than listening to digital CD's. Good site, I think. Not done visiting yet.

I recently began collecting records only because I felt someone had put a lot of effort into making them and I didn't want to see them discarded or treated with disdain. I know it sounds nutty but I had no interest in value until my brother - in - law sa d he was going to throw out all his old 78's !! I now have them and I'm trying to get information about their value because a number of people have expressed interest. So much interest that I just might keep the darn things because others only want them or their value not their inherent worth. I like to look and your site is nice. Thanks from Nova Scotia Canada.
