I don't consider myself an artist as such, but I do think all human beings possess artistic tendencies of some kind. Here're a few items I have created while touched by my muse:

These are two paintings I have hanging in my room at home. The one on the left was created around two postcards I found in a used book store in Georgetown around 1994. The one on the right was created around a drawing I made while visiting Helsinki in 1987. I put them both together while we were living in an older home (built in the 1930s, I think) in Arlington, VA in late 1994 early 1995. Now that we live in a newer house, Amy insists that they be relegated to my office.

The image on the right below is, as you might have guessed, just a stretched version of the one on the left. This is from a color xerox of a drawing I made using colored pencils. My friend Andrea, who is well versed in such things, claims that the color xerox was a vast improvement on the actual drawing.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures. If you're interested in seeing more, click here to see computer-generated images and here to see a couple of pencil drawings. There are several more colored-pencil drawings (along the lines of the sun drawing above) which can be accessed by clicking here.
