Writing Task: Narrative
Read about RANGOLI:

You are an Indian child. Your mother has created a beautiful rangoli. You accidentally wreck it. She is upset and says it will upset the gods and cause bad luck.
What happens next? How do you fix it?
Write a first person narrative in the past tense.
Make sure you include:
- Orientation/Setting
Who?What?Where?When?Why? Remember: a good story has a character with an ambition who needs to overcome obstacles (no more than three) - Initial Event:
What happened? How were the characters involved? - Complications:
What problem(s) need to be overcome? Why? - Resolution:
How did the characters solve the problem(s)?
