One should note that each clubs procedures and responsibilities for each role may vary slightly.

The Parliamentarian role was just introduced into our club to help us all get a little better and a reminder every week on some aspect of parliamentary procedure using Robert's Rules of Order.  Since we are a 1 hour club we do not have time available to conduct club business meetings every week.  And since we only have business meetings every 4-8 weeks a good majority of us struggle with parliamentary procedure.  So we thought this might be a way to keep it current and for every one to slowly build up our skills in parliamentary procedure.

The Parliamentarian

Before the Meeting:

Research a topic on Parliamentary Procedure to present to the group at the next meeting using the links or resources below.  Try to pick one that is easy to present in a short order and does not need excessive explanation.

During the Meeting:

Make your presentation to the club.  Try to keep the presentation under 2 minutes.
