AUSTIN COVERAGE

WWF RAW kicked off with a bang as it broadcasted  live from Austin, Texas! Austin heads to ring to start off show with match against Booker T. Austin is still favoring one leg and it is an amazing feat of strength just for him to stand, let alone wrestle. The match is about halfway through, with Booker T in control of the match, when the nWo decides to show up and disrupt the match. Hogan and Nash hold Austin back as he desperately tries to fight back, while Hall goes and gets a monkey wrench. Just like they did to The Rock before, Austin is hit "right between the eyes", busting him wide open! A crimson mask forms over the face of Austin, rendering him helpless. Hogan, Hall, and Nash assault Stone Cold with a barrage of punches, until he can barely move. Continually, the nWo attacks Stone Cold until he is lying in a pool of his own blood. Eventually, the nWo leaves the ring.
Austin, with literally every iota of strength he has in his beaten and battered body, climbs to his feet, and refusing medical attention or referee aid, unsurely wobbles towards the entrance ramp, only to miss it and walk out the side of the arena. The city is Austin, Texas, and Austin will be dammed if he needs assistance to walk out of his home state.
Although it was a courageous show of heart, Austin was battered and bloodied just thirteen days away from his huge match at Wrestlemania X8 against Scott Hall. Will Austin retaliate, or will he be forced to lay low until Wrestlemania X8 like The Rock? Will we find out even later into the show? Log onto Stone Cold Surplus to find out more later on in the show!

Test and Mr. Perfect team up to take on Scotty Too Hotty and Albert. An exciting match, including Texas Style-Worm, ends in Mr. Perfect rushing in and hitting Scotty with a PerfectPlex, winning the match for his team.
In Hardcore action, Goldust comes to the ring to interview with Lillian Garcia. Following the 24/7 rule, Tazz runs to the ring and attacks Goldust! Tazz actually had Goldust in the Tazzmission, but escaped by grabbing a trash-can lid and  wacking Tazz with it. Falling on top of Tazz, he won the match after the special referee Jacquline counted the three count, with Goldust retaining his title.
Christian and DDP are seen backstage as DDP gives Christian another Pep talk to counteract the effects of his negativity. Also backstage, the nWo is seen attacking a crew worker wearing a WHAT? T-Shirt.
After the break, Trish Stratus took on Jazz for the Women's Championship. Jazz soon locked her trademark STF on Trish Stratus, but Trish slowly clawed her way to the Ropes for a rope break. She valiantly fought back, hitting Jazz with many clothelines, a suplex, and a superkick. Reversing a backdrop, Trish looked to gain momentum, but was reversed by Jazz. However, Jazz, turning her back, was speared by Trish, and then locked in the STF! When Jazz reached the ropes, Trish refused to break the hold! She was disqualified and continued to give Jazz a taste of her own medicine!
Backstage, Stephanie was on the phone ecstatically with Jericho, who was at the store looking for her special lotion. Triple HHH brought by a box of special belongings of Stephanie, which contained her lotion. Thanking HHH, she asked him to leave her alone as she wiped it all over her body. Triple HHH gave off a little smirk as he walked out of the room.
Coach caught up with Rob Van Dam and said that at WrestleMania he would nail William Regal with his Five Star Frog Splash and take the Intercontinental Championship. Lance Storm suddenly burst upon the scene and said that he was upset that RVD had beaten him on HEAT.
The two fought a ferocious match, with RVD highlighting the match with his OUTRAGEOUS areal manuevers. Suddenly, Storm began a wild attack on RVD's leg and knee. RVD was forced to hobble around on one leg until Lance Storm locked RVD in the Maple Lock Submission hold! RVD inched his way to the ropes to break the hold. After an Enziguri, RVD nailed the Five-Star-Frog Splash for the second victory over Storm in as many nights!
Backstage, the nWo assualted yet another innoncent crew worker, this time throwing an amenities worker into a pot of scalding hot coffee!
Scott Hall then faced off against Spike Dudley. In a moderatley fair match, with little nWo interference, Scott Hall manhandled Dudley, until he finished him off with a Razor
s Edge for the quick 1-2-3.
Backstage, Kurt Angle found Stephanie McMahon fuming- her skin had turned to hives and she was having an allergious reaction! HHH had switched her precious lotion with some secret ingredients! Stephanie went ballistic as she ordered Kurt to destroy her soon-to-be ex-husband.

The Game's match with Kurt Angle inside a steel cage was next! Both competitors exchanged numerous blows, until HHH hit Angle with a Pedigree. He was about to get out of the cage when Stephanie McMahon ran down to the ring and smacked HHH's head into the cage door! When Angle tried to escape, Stephanie ordered him to destory HHH. Angle hit HHH with a chair, busting him open! As Stephanie signaled for Kurt to come out of the cage, he refused and continued to beat on HHH- when HHH REVERSED A MOVE AND TURNED IT AGAINST KURT ANGLE! Angle and HHH hit each other with a double clothesline, and then Stephanie pulled a deflated Angle out of the cage to win the match, after HHH caught his leg in the ropes. Angle won the match a bruised and battered victor, but the victory was his!
