Boss Nass: This Gungan is the king of Otoh Gunga. He gives orders in this beautiful underwater city, and he and his faithfuls do not like the Naboo people because "they think they are so much smartier than the Gungans". But later, the Gungans decide that the Naboo are all right after all. |

Qui-Gon Jinn: A powerful Jedi Knight who obeys the Force continuously, is very mindful and accepts all living beings that exsist. He is not a member of the Jedi Council, however. Qui-Gon is sent to Naboo to have negotiations with Viceroy Nute Gunray, but things get carried away and he gets flown to Tatooine with Queen Amidala instead. There he meets a young boy, Anakin Skywalker, and finds that his midichlorian count is much higher than even Yoda's (Jedi Council Member). He believes that the boy should be trained, for he "will bring balance to the Force". Qui-Gon is a mentor to Obi-Wan Kenobi. |

|
Jar Jar Binks: This Gungan was banned from Otoh Gunga for a time because he is very clumsy. He is not a very smart creature. In Otoh Gunga, Jar Jar "boomed the gasser, and crashed the Boss's Heyblibber". Then he was banished. After being saved two times by Qui-Gon Jinn, Jar Jar becomes good company for the Jedi and his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and even comes in handy at one point in time. |
