Goku is a Saiyan from the Planet Vegeta. He didn't know until Radditz told him in Dragonball Z. He is a kind man who loves to be challenged in battles. He loves to fight no matter how strong the enemy is. He has a wife called Chi Chi. Goku and Chi Chi had a son named Gohan. Then they had another son named Goten. Goku has a best friend named Krillin. They have grown up toghether since Dragonball. Goku and Piccolo became good friends. Remember when they were arch enemies? Goku also became friends with Vegeta (sort of). Goku always treated Vegeta kindly and knew he could change if he was treated right. Goku was the first to become Super Saiyan in about 1,000 years. Vegeta could't except the fact that he was the first one to become Super Saiyan. Goku and Gotenks are the only two able to become Super Saiyan 3. Goku reaches Super Saiyan 4 in DBGT
Gohan
Race: Half-Saiyajin, Half-Human

Gohan is half Saiyan, and half Earthling. He could be one of the most powerful in the Universe. Unfortunetly he never reached his full potential. If he did he would be stronger than his father. He started out as a cry baby because his mother was too over- protective of him. Piccolo taught him to control his power when he was only six years old. Gohan went to Planet Namek to revive Piccolo after being killed by Nappa. Gohan respects Piccolo very much.He even calls him Mr. Piccolo. Gohan becomes very powerful depending on how angry he gets. Gohan was the very first to become Super Saiyan 2. Eventhough Gohan becomes very powerful he never had the love of fighting as his father.
Vegeta

Vegeta is a full blooded Saiyan, just like Goku is. His father was King Vegeta. Vegeta is an arrogant fighter who hates to lose. He is very jealous of Goku and tries everything to become stronger than him.Vegeta had a son named Trunks. A while after Trunks was born he married Bulma. Vegeta was able to become Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2.Vegeta likes to show off his power to try to scare the opponent. His arrogance is pretty cool sometimes. Vegeta wants to be the most powerful in the universe but it never comes true. He is a very powerful fighter but his arrogance is his down fall.He hides the good in him throughout the entire series until he has his daughter Bra.

Trunks is the son of Bulma and Vegeta. Trunks first showed up when the Freeza-bot came to Earth. There are two Trunks': Future Trunks and Chibi Trunks. Future Trunks is stronger than Chibi Trunks because Future Trunks grew up in a world of chaos and disaster and everyone was dead. But Bulma made a time machine that let him go to the past to prevent Goku from dying of a heart disease and prevent the androids from destroying Earth. Trunks went to the past gave Goku the medicine and left. He came back to see if they destroyed the androids, when he saw they didn't he helped out and helped them fight Cell. He was killed by Cell, but was revived by the dragonballs.

Goten is the second son of Goku and Chi-Chi. He is a very skillfull fighter. He turned Super- Saiyan at the age of seven. Chi-Chi was training him at the time this happened. He did not need extreme rage to turn Super Saiyan this surprised everybody. Chi-Chi tried to make Goten study but he always played around. Chi-Chi didn't expect much from him as she did from Gohan. He is as smart as his father which is not very bright. He had a big lack of discipline. He loves to be with Trunks. They always get into trouble. When he fuses with Trunks they turn into Gotenks. Gotenks is able to reach Super Saiyan 3. Goten looks up to Gohan very much, he's his hero. Goten wanted to be just like Gohan. Goten did not get to see Goku very much.He only got to be with him a couple times in the series.
