On A Clear Day

Here are some photographs to show the beauty of the changing seasons in this area. And on a clear day, you truly can see forever. Or at least as far as the Keweenaw Bay. These photos were taken right from our back yard.

Eastern view in the spring, looking toward Lake Superior's Keweenaw Bay,
with the sun setting behind me, throwing the forest into shadow

Same view in the summer

Same view in the fall

Same view in the winter

A kitten's work
Is never done.
There's air to chase--
Ten ways to run.

It takes all day
To fill my eyes
With sunny grass
And butterflies.

For spot from chuckles :"
