We currently have vacancies for part time Instructors (working mainly on weekends and
Monday evenings).
The job calls for you to be able to work under your own initiative. You would be expected to be able to promote continuing
education. The position offers good rates of commission.
There are also vacancies for Assistant Instructors and Divemasters, who wish to
expand their knowledge of the dive industry while working part time.
Rebreather Courses
Now at
Adventures in Scuba we are able to enhance
your diving experience by offering you training, sales and repair in both
the Dräger Dolphin and Dräger Ray rebreathers. We can arrange try
dives if you would like to experience these units before committing. All
try dives take place in the swimming pool.

DSAT Gas Blender
Do you have a shop or
club that pumps Nitrox but would like to be qualified to do so. The DSAT
Tec Gas Blender program takes you through the theory and practical
elements of oxygen servicing, cleaning and filling. Our instructors
will come to you. The course takes one full day and will be carried out on
your equipment. All course materials are included in the price of
£120 per person.

We can arrange to have
all makes and models of regulator professionally serviced, all at
reasonable prices.

Recompression
Chamber Awareness
This is one of the latest courses from
PADI. Lets hope that none of you ever have to find out what a
recompression chamber is like for real. For the curious amongst you,
why not have a go. You will spend a morning in the classroom and then
go to the
DDRC in
Plymouth for a half day for a fully guided tour of their facilities
and then do a 40m dive in the chamber itself. We need 8 people to
arrange this course due to the cost of hiring the chamber. Please see here for more information. Price £150 per
