Objectives of the Society The objective of the Somali Agricultural Economics Association(SAEA) is to encourage, coordinate and promote the study and application of economics to benefit the agricultural, food and related sectors in Somalia. Our discipline, and therefore our association, is dedicated to the use of applied economics and the vocational experience of its members to improve the welfare of the present and future generations of Somali people. Also, its principal aim is to encourage research, discussion and extension in the discipline of agricultural and resource economics in order to promote the efficient development of agricultural and natural resources sectors. |
