So you graduated college...now what?!

Mortgages, Marriage, Myspace, and Martinis. From obtaining mortgages to paying for a wedding to blogging about Bush, individuals born between 1978 and 1985 face a myriad of issues never dealt with by previous generations. Many members of this age bracket feel inundated by the vast choices and paths lying ahead of them. This overwhelming deluge of life’s issues impacting college graduates has been dubbed by authors, Alexandra Robbins and Abby Wilner, as the “quarterlife crisis.” The quarterlife crisis, described by feelings of “confusion of identity,” “feelings of inadequacy,” and “boredom in social interactions,” may lead to a sense of alienation. College graduates, in record numbers, are moving home with their parents post-graduation while they pay off their student loans and wonder why they are spending their days Xeroxing, filing, and playing solitaire in their cube.

So this is a place for us--the assistants, the junior associates, the residents, the coordinators--the people in between childhood and adulthood.
