Christine Lahti [The Doctor]

In The Doctor just wife, She plays a surgeon in Chicago Hope.

The American actress and wife of director Thomas Schlamme was born on April the 4th, 1950 in Royal Oak.
Christine got three children: son Wilson and the twins Emma and Joe.

Most of you will know Christine Lahti (like Adam Arkin and Mandy Patinkin) from Chicago Hope, the tv-series, where she plays the heard-surgeon Kate Austin.

"Why directing? When did you first develop an interest in working on this side of the camera?" Christine Lahti was asked, she answered:
"Well, it started kind of by default. I had just given birth to twins and I was looking to kind of get back into the acting loop after being out of it for a while, and there were literally no interesting parts. I was 43, and nothing really appealed to me. And then this opportunity to direct a short film kind of landed in my lap, and I thought, well, let me try. It was a short story I wanted to direct and I could direct, and [I figured] I’ll be in it, and who knows, I don’t know if I’ll like it or not. Well, it turned out I really took to it. I loved it."
