Samba
Youth are a community-based club whose aim is to provide competitive
football for young people from diverse backgrounds. To support
us in this endeavour we are linked to Kingston Racial Equality
Council. The club was formed in 2003 and in our initial season
we entered the West Surrey Youth League at Under 8, Under 10,
Under 11 and Under 13 levels.
Our
first season brought us some reward for all the hard work in setting
up the club. Which saw over 50 boys represent the club.

Tom
has been with us since the beginning of the season and
has always been keen to listen, learn and practice. He
shows true determination and commitment turning up to
play matches even when he is not 100%. He would love to
play up front but has spent the entire season in defence
and never once complained. We have watched his confidence
and skill grow and he has become a key member of the team.
We think the following sums him up:
Supportive ~ to others, a real team player
Attitude ~ excellent not just toward football,
to peers, parents & opposition
Motivation ~ unwavering, always enthusiastic
Behaviour ~ impeccable
Ability ~ undoubtedly our most improved player
of the year
