H&W Cardiac Centre had a free cardiac check up camp and found that Miss. Preethy of 21 years old was suffering from rhumatic heart desease with valvular problems (2 valves). She had to undergo for an open heart surgery immediately.

Preethy was born and brought up in a very poor family. Her father is a chronic asthma patient, can't do any works. Working as a housemaid her mother is looking after the family. Her younger sister is studying in an orphanage. For them it is unimaginable to afford a huge amount for Preethy's open heart surgery.

The Salem Voice requested our prayer partners to pray and help Preethy. By the grace of God many people prayed for her and few off them helped financially.

Praise the Lord! God took care of the Surgery, so it was successful. Preethy is witnessing the mercy of our lord now.

Mr. Prakash Danial was a hindu, accepted Christ as his personal Savior.       He had two children; Prince, son of nine years old and Praise Leena, daughter of seven years old. They are living in their ancestoral home, among relatives who are staunch hindus.
Praise Leena was studying in the second standard as a brilliant student.      But a tumor was found in her brain, became serious and all the treatments were failed. She had a tremendous hope in Jesus. She used to say that Jesus was calling her and wanted to go to Him soon.   She made an agreement with her father Prakash not to loose the faith in Jesus.   And died on the month of April.
When she died Prakash wanted to bury the deadbody in a christian cemetry.         But his relatives were deadly against of burying in a cemetry and they became very violent against the christians who were there near the deadbody. Somebody took knife to the throat of Bro. Ciniraj Mohamed.
Finally Bro. Ciniraj himself suggested them to bury the deadbody in a seperate place at the compound of their ancestoral home, rather burying in a cemetry or graveyard. The eldor person of the family accepted the suggestion and all are agreed. So Bro. Ciniraj had a chance to speak few words about Praise Leena before the funeral.   Praise the Lord!   Our Lord has opened the door. He preached t he Gospel more than an hour. A huge crowed, almost ignorent of Gospel listened the Gospel.
Still Prakash and family staying with their relatives. It is very difficult for them to worship God in spirit and truth. It is a must for them to live among the believers. Please pray that God may enable them to have a house among the belivers as their own very soon. If anybody wants to sponser him a house, pleas inform the Salem Voice.

The Salem Voice wish and pray to establish mobile dispensaries for the slums, interior villages, hilly areas and the places where the medical help is urgently needed due to the spreading of the contageous diseases, calamities, accidents etc. We pray to have sponsers for this project.
