Download classic games

Available to download here are some of the best classic games and conversions that I have come across in recent years and enjoyed playing. As far as I know all are freeware, except where indicated.

• Click on one of the links below to download the ZIP file for that game.
• Extract all the files and save them in a folder.
• Go to that folder in Windows Explorer and double-click on the EXE file to play that game.

Chuckie Egg*
The first computer game I ever had and a platform classic.

Manic Miner*
A conversion from the Spectrum of another classic platform game.

Wintris* [shareware]
A Windows version of the all-time most addictive game, Tetris.

Galacta*
A variant of the classic of classics - Space Invaders.

Snake
Only Space Invaders and Pac-man are more classic than Snake! In this version (as many others!) you try to make the longest snake you can without hitting his own trail or other objects.

Jacaranda Jim* [public domain]
An off-the-wall text adventure game by Graham Cluely.
