Intellectual Impostures (England)/ Fashionable Nonsense (USA) This book centers around a hoax promalgated by NYU Physicist Alan Sokal. It is all about how highly respected individuals (post-modernists) in prominent academic positions who have disengenuously distorted scientific/ mathematical theories in their works. The author must have had a great time reading some of the howlers eminent literary critics such as Latour, Kristeva and others have made. Well worth the read!
