The Way of Muhammad -|Peace be Upon Him|-

Say, (O Muhammad, to mankind): If ye love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.[3:31]

Hadith (Prophet Mohammed SAWS Words)

The Hadith is the second source of Islamic law .

MERCY
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "When God created living creatures, He wrote in the Book which is with Him in the highest heaven: 'My mercy shall prevail over My wrath.'" He also said: "God divided mercy into 100 parts, out of which he retained 99 parts with Him, and sent down one part to earth. From this one part emanates all the compassion that all of creation exercises toward one another, so much so that an animal lifts its hoof above its young lest it should get hurt.On Judgment Day, He will perfect and complete His mercy." (That is, he will use all 100 parts of mercy for His servants on that day.) Riyad us-Saleheen, 1:419-420

HUMILITY
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "(God) has revealed to me that you should adopt humility so that no one oppresses another." Riyad-us-Saleheen, Hadith 1589

A CLEAN HEART
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "No companion of mine should tell me anything bad about another person. For when I meet you, I would like my heart to be clean (unbiased.)" Riyad-us-Saleheen, Hadith 1539

AVOID JEALOUSY
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Avoid jealousy, for it destroys good deeds as fire destroys wood." Riyad-us-Saleheen, Hadith 1569

KINDNESS TO ANIMALS
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "A man walking along a path felt very thirsty. Reaching a well he descended into it, drank his fill and came up. Then he saw a dog with its tongue hanging out, trying to lick up mud to quench its thirst. The man saw that the dog was feeling the same thirst as he had felt, so he went down into the well again and filled his shoe with water and gave the dog a drink. God forgave his sins for this action." The Prophet was asked: "...Are we rewarded for kindness towards animals?" He said, "There is a reward for kindness to every living being." Sahih Al-Bukhari, 3:551

A GRATEFUL SERVANT OF GOD
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to stand for long periods at night offering optional prayers. His wife Ayesha once asked him: "Why do you stand so long in prayer when God has already forgiven your past and future sins?" The Prophet replied: "Then should I not be the most grateful servant of God?" Riyad-us-Saleheen, Hadith 98
