Hello. My name is Sun Hang. I'm a 21 year old Korean girl. I really like your family site. Your sons are really totally cute. There's nothing like Taekwondo to pull myself together. Once I saw people spoke Korean when they started and finished the game on TV. It was a very touching sight to see. When I was a kid I had a purple belt. I was proud of it. However, I had to quit my f vorite sports, because I seriously sprained my leg. You know my mom was oversolicitous for her childrens care. my son and i are taking tkd at an ata school here in naw'orleans i'm red decided going for black recommended,my son is camo going for green both next month.i have studied various styles from okinawan ureich-ryu to chinese kenpo & wing chun i can not say t at one style is better than another because each style has its advantages but for kids i've seen that tdk really makes them work and that keeps them out of trouble along with giving them a sense of pride in what they have accomplished, its ashame that som kids who do not experince the arts can only mock the sounds of BRUCE LEE and not feel the chi.

Hello, My name is Floyd Wilcox. My 6yr. old son and I both take taekwondo at our local ATA school. Were just now getting ready to test for our camo belts. We both really enjoy it. I'm still working on getting the wife to go. I have a purple belt in Kempo s well. However our school closed before I could work to black belt. I do think Kempo is a fine martial art, but I must say I really like the ATA approach and belive in the goals. It is a much more family orented martial art. Nice site. My son and I have been taking Taekwondo for about four months now and we LOVE it! We study at the ATA Black Belt Academy in Kennett, Missouri. We will be testing for orange belt in about 3 weeks. My son competed in the River City Super Regi nals in Tunica, MS this past Saturday. It was a lot of fun. Very nice site. Like your family, my entire family is also participating in Songahm Taekwondo at the ATA Black Belt Acadamy of Fargo. My wife, Scottie, and I are currently Yellow Belts and are members of the Black Belt Club, my son Stephen, who is nine, is a Purple Belt and also a member of the Black Belt Club, and last but not least, my daughter, Jackie, who is six, is an Orange Belt and is in the Tiny Tigers program. I really admire Theresa. I'm a mother of three kids (two boys ages 3 & 2 and a 1 year old baby girl). My husband is a 2nd Dan Blackbelt and also a National Instructor. I guess you may say that our family also centers on the Martial Art. Aside from mot erhood, I'm also a government employee. I have been a Whitebelt for the past three years!! Before I got into ATA my life was pretty bad. If it wasn't for ATA and my instructors I would of probably continued on with drugs and smoking and I would have probably ended up pregnant. But ever since I got into it it has given me the confidence to loo at all the good things about myself instead of focusing on the bad. Hi there! I'm a recently single mom with two great kids. My son Tommy (10) and I became active in Taekwondo through our Park District last year and we're now yellow belts. What a great program! We're planning to do our first regional tournament this s mmer. It's great to see other ATA families on the 'net. I recently started studying Songahm Taekwondo in addition to continuing my training at ABI. Hello - I enjoyed your site. I am in the process of making one for my family. I get 5Mb free site w/GTE.net, so why not? I am a recommended black belt, and plan to test for my first degree next March. Our school's theory is more all encompassing. We earn TaeKwonDo of course, but also need First Degree Escrima Certification and the first two Sebot/Bonkow katas. It is great fun for body and soul.
