from the farm at Chilo, Ohio, to Bracken County, Kentucky, sometime after

Oliver graduated
from William and Mary, the second
oldest university in the United States, and afterwards taught school
in Bracken County. Unfortunately, many university records before the
Civil War were destroyed by fire. |
Oliver and Martha were married
February 19, 1859, in Bracken County, at the home of Martha's father,
John Byar. The minister was Elkhanah Johnson, and the witnesses were Jas
W. Staton, John W. Summers and Wilfred Monohon.
