Current Comic

Holy Crap! Look at that! An update. First comic is up! Okay, I'll stop using exclamations points now. So all previous comments in the "News" selection about my comic are false. I decided not to do a sprite comic because eh, eventually RO is gonna die. I decided to draw a comic because I want to get better at drawing, and this will force me to draw more. So bear with me in the beginning the art may be pretty damned bad.

Still no update schedule, but no one reads this comic yet anyways, so no bg loss. I'm still aiming at once a week.

Web page still needs some updating, which is the priority at the moment.

Also, happy Walpurgis Nacht. I chose today as the day of the first comic for that reason. Eventually Walpurgis Nacht will come to be a major plot point in the comic. I guess my comic will be a supernatural/paranormal epic. I'm not too sure about the epic part. But I personally don't really want to talk about the comic too much.

Walpurgis Nacht is the night where witches hold a celebration in the mountains in Germany. Its mainly a European holiday, so I'm sure many Americans don't know about it. There's a lot of pagan history around the holiday, but I'll go further into that when the plot comes around for it to be known.

Okay, comments on the comic: First comic is kind of rough. Completely drawn in Photoshop CS3 with my tablet. Eh, looks good enough for me. My art is not the best, but thats why I'm doing a comic, to get better. I still can't do eyes, hands and hair, but the hair doesn't look as bad as normal. Panel 2 just looks horrible. That green thing is supposed to be a lamp. For those who may say the pope looks too young, the youngest pope indoctrined was 13. The pope has a nose, its just very faint so its hard to see. I made up the pope number, there is no Pope Gregory XVI.

Alright, I'm quite proud of pulling this off. I'm gonna draw the next comic on paper though. I dunno, paper just feels more natural. So expect completely different art style next comic. I'll have to see which is easier to do. I'm not sure if I'll do every comic in color or not, we'll see.

Good God, there is a LOT of site maintenace to do around here...

Okay... Working on completely overhauling this page. Well, more like my html skills are limited so, more like changing it around a little bit. The big day is coming up. I've actually been working on starting a comic. I'll be making changes over the next few weeks, but the site will probably keep the same appearance, just maybe match more to the comic I will be making. I know that no one will read it on the onset, and I'm banking on that fact to get the site up and ready. There is no set schedule on updates at the moment. I'll go ahead and pull the Duke Nukem Forever, updates will come when the current page I'm working on "is done." I'll try and get one page up a week, but we all know how procrastinating I am, so don't expect anything.
