We - Scott Stedall and Rob Absalom - are brothers with 5
years between us. Different fathers account for the different
surnames. Both of us have been keen on doing this type of
a trip for about 8 years now. It is a long time in the brewing.
Rob, 30 going on 24, is a Project Manager in the computer
world and has been working in Australia for 3 years.
Scott, 25 going on...well we're not quite sure, is a
Civil Engineering Technician and has been working in
Cape Town for the last 4 years.
A civil engineer and computer person off on a overland
trip through Africa with only a glimmering of understanding
of the internal mechanics of a diesel Land Rover. This
is going to be a steep learning curve for our travellers.
