Saturday.

We slept in and Danni was such a good baby...I didnt' hear her at all last night. They give you a free breakfast when you stay the night. It was a very opulent hotel and you know that sometimes you feel so out of place in your blue jeans and sneakers going to place like that, but being pampered and living in the luxury was wonderful, even if it was just one night. The huge jacuzzi tub was a hit with me...ha ha ha. Back to breakfast. We got up so late we had a half hour left to grab some, so off we went. There was anything and everything you could want for breakfast there. The sausage here is very mild. I noticed that infact most of the food is milder and not as strong as somethings we have. Like salt and vinagar potato chips. What we have makes your eyes water its so strong but here, the chips are not as salty or greasy and even though you can taste them..they are not so overpowering. Makes a big difference.

After breakfast it was off to the Queen Victoria Market. It was large. It reminds me of the York Fair/and the Markets in Mexico. Only not as dirty and crazy. Dez was taking my photo constantly of my shopping the different booths. It was so much fun, looking at everything and seeing all the touristy things along with clothes and shoes. There was a food section we didnt get to so I can imagine what they had there. We did see an aboriginal playing a guitar and singing. Dez said he plays other intruments too. I have photos of this I need to scan.

We were off to the airport to pick up Beth and her kids. She will be here for the weekend for a visit. It's strange to meet someone you have been chatting with online and then to have them there in person right infront of you. It will be a fun weekend!

Tonight we lit a fire in the fireplace. It gets cold here at night since they are now into the fall weather. Cath was brining Turkish food for supper. This would be the first time I've had it. At 4 pm everyone was wondering...where was Cath? Where could she be? Bloody Cath. ha ha ha She just lost track of the time and made it by 6:30 with tons and tons of food just as the natives were getting restless. It was delish...yummmmm and very filling. It reminded me of Greek food but better. Dez treated us to a belly dance after dinner. The woman has talent! Colin , a friend of the family joined us for dinner. Great food, good conversation. With such a full belly it was all I could do to keep my eyes open. SO ends my 3rd day here.
