Present were: Clara Cabella, Patricia Derby, Florence DeRosier Clarey, Audrey Varnum Sinner, Cliff Ambers, Ann Wolfrum Rinehart. Bonnie Sparks Robeson and Richard Pastega. The principal of the school directed us to the government class. Then we talked a bit about the history of the school and the disaster of the destruction of the class photos from 1929 the first class to graduate from KUHS.
Students were invited to ask questions: What are some of the biggest differences you notice between the time you were here and now. Ans. Dress code. Some one explained the process of brushing and combing angora bobby socks. Of chalk bags to keep white bucks white. The auditorium was discussed. There is no auditorium in the high school now. The loss of the County Library building was mentioned. One student wanted to know about our football team. We were pleased to report to them that we'd "won 7 and lost 2". And had three players on the All Conference team. I think they were impressed.
