This is an art project that I made with straws.

Materials: Colored straws, scissors, bowl (to put the cut up straws into), paper. tape or glue.

Cut up the straws and put them in a bowl. Use tape or glue to stick the straws on to the paper.

This was a great project with no mess to clean up at the end! When I finished making the shape, I colored it in with my oil pastels.

I did another project, using crepe paper. It hit the trash before I got to scan it, but I can still explain the project.

Materials: Colored crepe paper strips, thick white paper, water.

Take a piece of thick white paper and wet it in the sink. Take strips of colored crepe paper and place them on the wet paper.

After about 30 minutes, take off the strips of crepe paper.

This was a fun project. I liked seeing how the colors mixed together.
