God loaned me ten kids to raise for Him. On May 7, 2007, He took one of them Home.
Matt was 32 when he left this earth. He was a wonderful young man who had struggled through many fires, but had a living testimony of what the Lord Jesus had done for him. He leaves behind his loving wife, Jen, her son, Tucker, from a previous marriage, and his own two kids, Tyler and Valarie, from his first marriage. He is now reunited with a baby who lives in heaven. Matt's first wife has two other kids who I claim as grandchildren - Tiphanie was born shortly after Matt met her, so she has always been "mine", and little Jake was born after their divorce.
Camille is my oldest daughter. She is an independent, divorced mom to Gabrielle and Elijah. She works as an office manager, and has many interests.
Michelle and her husband, Mitch, have two sons - Marshall and Manning. Michelle is a stay-at-home mommy, and she loves doing things with the boys. She is also very active in church, and related activities. She recently returned from a mission trip to Nicaragua, where 500 people were saved - praise God!
Beau is an assistant pastor - he and his wife Carrie have a daughter named Becca. He loves the Lord, and has written a poem to praise Him.
Rachele works at a flower shop as a designer, which she likes, and is very good at. She has four adorable children, Kryslyn, Madilyn, Kyle, and Benjamin.
Elisabeth is the mom to a rambunctious little boy, Damian. She works as a hostess in a restaurant, but eventually would love to pursue a career in interior decorating.
Emily is also an office manager, and has already purchased her first home, which is nicer than mine! She is very ambitious, and also a sweet and caring person. She is the "mom" to Kingsford and Ella (cat and dog).
Kurt is still trying to decide what he wants out of life. He just turned 19, and so far, hasn't gotten too serious about his future.
The next two kids are the ones that my late husband and I had together.
Nicholas is 17. He is currently looking for a job, and if he can ever get his act together, plans to go to college.
Crystopher is 16, and is proud to be a weird child. He is an artist, like his dad was, and he also enjoys Magic the Gathering, D & D, computers, watching TV, and playing video games.
We are never without pets in our home... currently, we have 7 cats - Marilyn, Mr. Whiskers, Shamrock, Seamus, Dublin, Nightmare (all black), and Professor Tum-Tum. As for canines, we have Neo, Mavourneen, Scamp, Dozer, Bianca, and Tak. Tak is a very small dog - half chihuahua and half beagle, and he recently got loose, and tangled with something a lot bigger than himself. He made it home, but was severely damaged. He lost his tail and his right eye, but still thinks he's the toughest thing that ever walked on this planet
