In 1973, Cutey Honey came
to television. The television show, which ran on Saturday nights
from October 13 1973 - March 30 1974 is considered to be the very first
"Magical Girl" series. In this series, Kisaragi Honey, an android
created by scientist Kisaragi Takeshi, as a replacement for his deceased
daughter uses her powers to fight off Panther Zora and the evil Panther
Claw Gang. Screenshots from this series are very rare, but here are
a few that I found.
