Becoming a member is easy! Just stop in at the Alton Goin Museum and talk to one of the members on duty. You can also call for more information at the Museum or contact the Portage Parks Department.

The membership fees are as follows:
Individual | $18.00 (yearly) |
Family | $48.00 (yearly) |
Business | $58.00 (yearly) |
Lifetime | $108.00 (plus a yearly $8.00 renewal fee) |
$8.00 of your fee entitles you to membership in the Indiana Historical Landmarks Foundation.
The Portage Community Historical Society holds its meetings on the 3rd Tuesday of the following months:

A program or presentation is usually given on interesting topics related to Portage history or historical preservation in general. Refreshments and cookies are also served. Please join us and learn more about the city where you live. We'd love to have you!
