Overview of events, in
chronological order.
Day 1
I
travel from my my hometown of Seattle to Tokyo to meet my pen-pal of 3 years,
Yoko Onosaki.
Day 10
Yoko
and I go to Kyoto, the old capitol of Japan. Here, we visit some hot springs. This is where I
meet Ayumi Hamasaki and get the music video proposition.

12
I go to Beijing with Yoko
to sign contracts to be in Ayumi's video. Here, I find a stray dog I name Qi-Fu.
Yoko goes home to Tokyo, taking Qi-Fu with her.

14
Ayumi and I take a plane
to Tahiti to film the music video. This is where I meet my idol, Zhang Ziyi.
Day
23
Ayumi, her crew, and I go
to Sydney to do some publicity shots and go to some press conferences for the
new video.
Day 27
I
decide to take a trip to Alice Springs, Australia, and then go to the Outback. I
faint due to dehydration, and am saved by Selma, a journalist.
Day
29
I wake up in a strange
hotel room in New Delhi and find out I almost died, but Selma had saved me.
Selma asks me to accompany her on the last leg of her trip.
Day
31
Selma and I travel to
Vietnam. I turn out to be very helpful because the Vietnamese recognized me as a
star and gave us free meals and a room. It didn't hurt that we both speak
French, which is still spoken by some of the citizens.
Day
36
Selma and I trekked on to
Cambodia, where Selma leaves me with Carmen Sanchez at Angkor, where the
filming of the Spanish version of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider is taking
place. Carmen offered me a plane ride to her home country of Chile if I agreed
to help speak French to the Cambodians and had a cameo role in the movie.

40
Carmen and I arrive in
Chile, where I take a scenic bus ride to Colombia.
Day
49
I meet a Colombian coffee
plantation owner named Pablo Ferdinando, who I agree to help out for a ride on
the next shipment truck to Panama.
Day

I arrive at Panama City
and I go to the Panama Canal. Here, I meet Jesus Flores, who offers me a ride on
his yacht to Acapulco, Mexico.
Day
61
I arrive in El Salvador
with Jesus for a MUCH needed break. We will rest here for a couple of days
before we continue to Acapulco.
Day
68
Jesus drops me off in
Acapulco, right in the middle of MTV's Spring Break. Here, I am bombarded by TV
personalities and cameramen from MTV's affiliate in Japan. I agree to fill in
for a missing dancer at a performance and be interviewed for a plane ticket to
Seattle.
Day 73
I
reach home and it's as if no one knew I was gone, or that I became an Asian pop
star. But it was all worth it when I come home to find Yoko holding Qi-Fu, both wanted to spend more time with me after I
left abruptly to Tahiti in the middle
of my stay in Tokyo.
