The indoor season is drawing to a close...

But when winter returns, do not let your soccer skills RUST!

Let a nationally certified soccer coach help you stay fit and improve your game during the "Off" season.

It used to be that North Americans viewed soccer as a means for hockey players to stay in shape over the summer. But the popularity of soccer is growing quickly, the quality of play is improving, and soccer players, like hockey players, are finding that they need to train their sport in every season in order to stay competitive.

Our Indoor Soccer Goal

Our goal is to provide each athlete with guidance and instruction to help them develop and improve the skills and conditioning required to reach the level of soccer that he or she desires.

How do we plan to do it?

At MAD, we attempt to taylor our training programs specifically to the needs of the individual athlete. The programs are created based on an initial skills and conditioning assessment, as well as a discussion about goals and expectations. Exercises and drills will be selected (and possibly modified) to optimize the results for each player, and increase the likelihood of reaching their goals. Low player/coach ratios will allow each athlete more individual attention to address their own needs and recognize their own accomplishments. And all of this will be done while recognizing that fun and enjoyment are the key reasons our athletes play soccer.

When do our soccer players train?

Our indoor soccer programs are based on appointments similar to personal training. Each athlete is required to participate in an initial evaluation and planning session to enable the coach to develop an appropriate program. Once the evaluation is complete, we usually recommend booking at least one training session per week, with best results coming from a consistent day of the week and time of day (ex. every Friday at 4:00pm). More sessions are available if desired.

Actual scheduling duration and frequency will reflect the age and level of the athlete(s), as well as the availability of the coach and an adequate facility.

As of December 2004 we will be offering sessions in Collingwood for mornings, lunches, some evenings, and some weekends.

Sessions are available for private (1 athlete), semi-private (2 athletes) and small group (3-4 althetes) instruction.
