CHARDHAM-TOUR- TERMS & CONDITIONS

Our valued customers are requested to carefully read all the terms and conditions and only then book for tour as per their requirements. Afterwards ignorance about terms and conditions would not get you relief in case of dispute arising out of any unexpected event.

1.All the tour programs start from and terminate in Delhi/as mentioned. To reach the customers would have to make their own arrangements by air, by train or by surface.

2.The customers will have to stick to time frame to join group for start. It would not be the responsibility of management for damages if any person reaches late at starting point and misses group. Even during tour every person will stick to schedule given by management.

3.Customers travel at their own free will and management will not be responsible for any liabilities regarding any damages, injury, accident and death during the tour operations.

4.Customers will have to bear extra expenses if there is any increase in driving distance than tour itinerary, days, fuel prices, govt taxes etc. after finalizations of the trip. Also if in cases of flood, fire, earthquake, accident, political unrest or any natural calamities the trip is modified or extended, customers will borne the extra expenses. Additional per day cost may be arrived by the average cost per day of the tour.

5.There would be no refund for unutilized services or if any person wants to leave the trip midway.

6.We do manage trips with the help of many service providers such as hotels, guides, transporters, airlines, railways and much more. We do not bear any responsibility for losses, omissions, accidents, death by operations of such service providers as they are out of our direct control. Hence we request you to indemnify yourself against unexpected events by comprehensive insurance.

7.For child upto 4 years, there would be no extra cot in hotel or separate seat in coach, from 4 to 11 years there would be extra mattress in hotel with parents.

8. Child between 5-12 years of age would pay 70% of the normal fare whether sharing the bed with parents or getting extra mattress. For payment purpose child above 12 years would be counted as adult.

9. We also offer off-season discounts. Please keep in touch for such facility.

10. In some places (during Chardham) as Barkot/Ranachatti, Guptkashi or Gangotri the group leaves on trek. Here the full luggage is not carried. For the safety of luggage one room is hired in the hotel where group stays. This is additional cost and is to be borne by the group.

11. For washing of clothes the clients may deposit their clothes at Uttarkashi and Guptkashi as there is halt of two nights in these places. You are requested to give the clothes to washer man after counting and collect by counting on the determined rates.

12.Full and final payment is to be paid for issuance of vouchers for different services i.e. hotel and transportations etc.

13. The menu is attached for the reference of the party. Party can ask for the changes before the start of the tour. Changes in the menu afterwards would be allowed in the rare cases only (if possible).

14. The group is advised not to meddle in the working of the kitchen staff as they feel irritated by too many instructions from different persons. They are experienced, know their work and try to cater to the palatable taste of the group.

15. As groups do have their distinct tastes of food and variety, we try to provide the best possible cuisine in this tour. We request you to try the local dishes as you may never get another opportunity. Never make food a debating issue. The cooks we carry are the best in the profession and the menu is provided in such a way that the items are not repeated as such.
The provisions are cleanly picked, hygienic and nutritious value is maintained and fresh and warm food is provided. After all good arrangement is not expensive but it is simply the proper and efficient use of the available resources.

16.Under no circumstance the management would be liable for the loss of valuables such as cash, credit card, mobile phones, jewelry or things of personal use. In this we request the customers to take utmost care and use wherever lockers are available.

17.The following rates would be applicable for cancellation of bookings:

25% cancellation charges 20 days or more before start of journey.
50% cancellation charges 19-10 days before start of journey.
75% cancellation charges 9-5 days before start of journey.
No refund for less than 5 days.

18. Package Is Inclusive Of:

Transportation by good deluxe A/C and Non A/C coaches/cars.
Twin sharing accommodation in 2/ 3/ 4 star hotels. For Chardham in some places there are only guest houses available and no star category hotels existing.
Children between 5-12 years would be provided extra mattress with parents.
All meals i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Sightseeing as per program.

19. Package Is Not Inclusive Of:

Any type of insurance group or individual.
Cold drinks, pan parag etc., telephone calls, any tips, laundry charges, mineral water, boating, horse riding etc.
Meals during train/coach journey.
Jeep drive from Hanumanchatti to Janakichatti in Uttaranchal (coach can not move in this route). Pony ride-Palaki etc. at Yamunotri-Gaumukh-Kedarnath trek. Rope way charges at Auli.
Any other items unless specifically specified in tour program.

20. The tour cost does not include supply of mineral water. This is borne by the party though we make arrangements for its supply. But at the same time we advise the clients to use the local water for drinking as it is naturally coming from the mountains of Uttaranchal. This is natural water and safer to drink than the so called mineral water, whose quality is always under dispute.

21. The pilgrims are strictly advised not to consume liquor in the duration of Chardham visit. Consumption of alcohol is not only prohibited at most of the places, it also spoils the basic purpose of your visit to holy places. Also try not to offend the sensitiveness of the local people, and help us in preserving the Eco-system of the fragile mountains of Uttaranchal. Using polythene is highly discouraged in this area.

22. You are visiting holy places. Enjoy the natural beauty in the serene surrounding instead of paying of too much attention on logistics.

23. We have tried to make the conditions very transparent. There may be promises for better facilities. Please do not get misguided by such claims. We give free advice if you have questions on such claims. Give us opportunity only if you are satisfied after inquiry.
