"Amour on t'aime" - Arlette Zola
"Love, we love you, more than ourselves, more than money, politics and songs"
The Swiss Final was held on January 28th at the SR TV Studios in Geneva, hosted by Serge Moisson. The winning song was chosen by the votes of 3 regional juries, a press jury and a jury of "experts". "Amour on t'aime" had originally been accepted for the 1979 Swiss Final, to be sung by Alain Morisod and his group, however as his group split up just before the 1979 Swiss Final, the song was withdrawn and re-entered 3 years later.
