"Dag efter dag" - Chips

The Swedish Final was held on February 27th at the Liseberghallen in Gothenburg, hosted by Fredrik Belfrage. The 10 songs were reduced to 5 finalists, which were then voted on by 9 juries that were formed according to the ages of its members.

Chips were Elisabeth Andreasson and Kikki Danielsson. Elisabeth and Kikki had both come 2nd in the 1981 Swedish Final in the group Sweets 'n' Chips. Kikki also came joint 1st in the 1978 Swedish Final (losing in a tiebreak) and 4th in 1980 (in the group Chips). At the Eurovision, "Dag efter dag" came 8th.
