"Å for et spill" - Bendik Singers
The Norwegian Final was held on February 17th at the Château Neuf in Oslo, hosted by Vidar Lønn-Arnesen. Each of the songs were performed twice (by different performers) - firstly with a small band, and secondly with an orchestra. The winner was chosen by the votes of 14 members of the public who gave each song 1-5 points.

The Bendik Singers included Arne Bendiksen, Ellen Nikolaysen & Anne Karine Strøm. Arne Bendiksen had already represented Norway in 1964, Ellen had taken part in the 1972 Norwegian Final (4th), while Anne Karine took part in the Norwegian Finals of 1971 (10th) and 1972 (4th). At the Eurovision, they sang the song in English as "It's just a game" and came 7th. Benny Borg represented Norway in 1972.
