I LOVE MUSIC!!!!

If you like BRC, RVS, B & D, 50's R & R or R & B, you'll probably like visiting my home page. If you don't recognize the above initials, then you might not..

But, If you look around a while, maybe you'll find something you like. I've loved music of almost every kind all my life (Which started very early in the morning of March 25th, 1943). My earlier days were spent listening to the country radio stations with my mother and the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday nights with the family. From there I progressed into the '50's Rock and Roll (Elvis, Jerry Lee, etc.) and on into the R & B Memphis sounds (see more about this on my "50's" page). I went through the
'mellowing' period listening to Johnny Mathis and Henry Mancini type sounds, then gradually came full-circle back to Country and Rock & Roll, but I still love it all !!!

NOTHING has topped THAT yet!!!

Lot's of difference there, but I thoroughly enjoyed them both.

I just recently found ticket stubs from these two concerts that I had forgotten I still had !! (See 'Lyrics' page for "I was a Part of the 50's" -- below)
Couldn't count the number of concerts I've attended since that time.

I'm doing something now to my website that I REALLY didn't want to do, since I don't care about 'catagorizing' my music, but I'm afraid this page is getting just a little too big to be easy to follow. Paul Burleson
(1929 - 2003)
(The Rock and Roll Trio)
Paul was a 'Legend in his own time'!! He was the guitar player for many years with Dorsey and Johnny Burnette in The Rock and Roll Trio Band. After the deaths of Johnny and Dorsey, Paul continued his music career and was the inspiration to many budding artists. He performed at most of the Rockabilly Festivals in Jackson, Tennessee, playing with most any group that invited him, including Dorsey and Johnny's sons Billy and Rocky. He always mingled among the crowd and I, for one, will never forget his friendliness and always-present smile! We'll miss you Paul...

(Bill Haley's Original Comets)

Johnny was the last surviving 'partner' in the Bill Haley Corporations. He was often referred to as the quiet or shy Comet, but in reality, he was very witty and a wonderfully friendly person. Our group always looked forward to his smile and discreet wave from the stage!

I'll bet he and Paul are having a ball up there in 'Rock and Roll Heaven' along with Bill, Johnny and Dorsey!!

We'll miss you Johnny....
