The claim with DFEH sat on the consultant's desk for almost 2 months (while she was out on medical leave) and then the claim was closed due to "Respondent Unavailable"; even though the company is alive and well in China according the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and the Chief Operating Officer for the California subsidiary resides in the richest city in California; Rancho Santa Fe.
Working in the U S A has been a struggle for me. My faith is shaken and my spirit has weakened. I find it harder to find a job based on my experience and skills. It's as though you almost have to kiss someone's ass to keep a job or step on a lot of people while you make your way to the top. Since I can't do either and live with myself, I'll have to continue to keep looking or win the lottery, but I refuse to be misused.
