One thing they have a lot of in Vietnam is schools. Everywhere I went, in the countryside and in the towns and cities, I saw kids on their way to and from school and at school.

I wanted to visit some, but I have to admit, it was really difficult. Every time I came near to a school, the kids started going wild. Imagine if someone came near to your school that looks as funny as I look to these Vietnamese kids. I have blond hair, a beard, funny clothes. Whenever I came close all the kids would run out of their classrooms and start to scream and get crazy. As a teacher, I didn't want to do anything to make the Vietnamese teachers' jobs harder. Here is a picture I took of a school one afternoon after most of the kids have gone home.
