Ron "Dabz" Boudreau-McLellan
January 17th, 1961  -  May 1st, 2004

On Saturday May 1st, 2004, at 2:40pm and 33 seconds, Dabz of Tacoma Redd (Citizen Kill), The Falls River Fiends, The G-Men and Queen St. Way Cool Tattoos, passed away at the Toronto-General Hospital's Eatons wing.

Dabz finally succumbed to a mass rejection from a double lung transplant he received over two years prior. His health had been failing since late November of 2003, but he slugged it out in true Dabz fashion. As many of you know, he'd already beat the odds before; not only out-living the expected average age of someone living with CF, but almost had a miraculous recovery from the transplant.

Ron was surrounded by a lot of friends, family, band mates and co-workers up to his final moments. His girlfriend, Mirella, never left his side for a second and constantly made sure that he knew we were all there with him, and how much we all loved him. She was truly a strong and phenomenal solid person in all of this, and she should have our eternal gratitude for the dignity and honour she allowed Ron to leave us with.
