The origin of Rogers Communications can be traced back to the invention of the first alternating current (AC) radio tube in 1925 by Edward Rogers Sr. Today, Rogers owns assets ranging from radio and television to printed media and wireless communications.

In 2003, Rogers Wireless began to launch a series of new stores across Canada. While the new "Rogers Plus" stores focus primarily on wireless products and services, the stores in some provinces also feature DVDs, HDTV and high-speed internet.

Shown above are three phone bars that display cellular phones or data devices. Each features line illustrations of content that one might access using a wireless device. Using metaphorical imagery, each phone bar spotlights one of three main themes; chat, surf or play.

On the point of sale (POS) station below, the line illustrations spotlight a broader picture of the wireless world, using references to e-mail, calendars, a radio frequency chart, etc.
