Work Hours:  9:30 am - 5:30 pm

Today was rather unproductive.  Maria and I were the only ones there until about 10:30, when Amy arrived.  Lindsay didn't make it until after 11am.  We got a little work done on figuring out the programming for the Keithleys.  Still we haven't figured out how to utilize the data acquisition cards.

We had to head to lunch around noon so that we'd be done in time for the weekly RISE training session.  Lockheed-Martin was there again speaking.  This time their talk was about interpersonal communication.  I find that their presentations are a little cheesy.  But that's okay.

We also got the books that we are reading for our RISE program as well.  I'm reading "The Hornet's Nest".  Its about one of the Navy's first female fighter pilots.  This ended around 3:45 pm.

So we went back to the lab and briefly tried to figure out the data acq. card.  At 5 pm, we were supposed to go to a lab meeting about safety with the instrumentation.  This actually was just a front for the reason she called us all together... it was one of the guys from the Merit program's 21st b-day and his girlfriend cooked lasagna and a big cookie cake for him and the entire lab.  Isn't that sweet!

So we ended up leaving after that.  Actually, while we were eating, we had a rather deep conversation about Christianity and beliefs thereabouts....

Anyway... that's about it.
