Helicopters
Welcome to my web page about helicopters. I have been fascinated by helicopters since I was a boy. I love the freedom they have to move in all directions.
The picture above shows me walking to a Jet Ranger near Leeds-Bradford airport. I took a 30 minute pleasure flight over the area, which was great.
In this web site I have a few pictures of helicopters from the Leeds area, where I used to live until recently. There's a few images of 'celebrity' helicopters, ones featured on TV programmes. Then I have a bit about Simcopter, a computer game which I play all the time. I know it's a bit sad, but until I earn my million I will have to make do with a game!
For the future I might try and make some material about the helicopters around Colchester, where I live now. I have seen some military heicopters, presumably associated to the garrison in the town. So far I have seen a Lynx and a mililiary-painted Hughes 520.
