Nintendo and Rare's Licenses Well here it is: Nintendo gets to keep D.K., Diddy, and Fox licenses. Rare gets to keep Banjo, Perfect Dark, and Conker. I can't believe Banjo is gone... September 20th, 2002 IBM Ships 10 Millionth "Gekko" Processor Nintendo has sold about 3.8 GCNs since March 30th, and expects 16 million sold by the next March 30th. IBM presented Nintendo with a plaque, on it the 10 millionth processor. Nintendo's Official Statement On Rareware Due to Rare's slow money-making, Nintendo has sold Rare's 49% stock that they owned. All of Nintendo's shares and Rareware's second party status has been terminated. Microsoft won the bidding. Star Fox and a couple of GBA games will still be developed, but Kameo is unknown. September 8th, 2002 N64 Review-A-Day #3: Mario Kart 64 Many people have mixed opinions about this game. Mario Party 4 Boxart Yes, and it is quite good also. September 7th, 2002 Animal Crossing in Blockbuster Animal Crossing is now already ready for rent in Blockbuster. But sadly, you can not copy an Animal Crossing town into another memory card. You must have the same memory card. N64 Review-A-Day #2: Gauntlet Legends Another great classic in my opinion. September 6th, 2002 Timesplitters 2 Delayed The game is delayed till October 15th. N64 Review-A-Day #1: Banjo Tooie Yes, these reviews will go on for about 2 weeks. The first game up is a gold classic. Super Mario Sunshine selling good At 350,000 copies sold in 10 days, Super Mario Sunshine is currently ahead of Super Mario 64's sales!
